The Genesis Hackathon 2024 Winners Announced
The second Genesis Hackathon has concluded with the announcement of the winners at the Genesis Visionaries Gala (Seville, 21st May 2024). The event brought together talented colleagues from vendors, MNOs and enterprises to showcase their skills and tackle real-world challenges. After an intense competition, the Genesis Hackathon Roaming and Messaging winners have been unveiled!
The Genesis Hackathon, created by ROCCO, is a premier initiative that fosters collaboration and innovation within the Roaming and Messaging industries. The event attracts top talent, providing participants with an opportunity to collaborate, learn, and push the boundaries of what is possible in our landscape. Over the course of a few weeks, participants worked tirelessly to develop groundbreaking solutions that address two global issues: How to cater to the growing demands of Roaming Quality of Service (QoS) with limited resources? and How to deal with large amounts of messaging fraud-reported data.
The winners were selected by an esteemed panel of industry experts who evaluated the solutions.
Without further ado, we proudly present the Genesis Hackathon final rankings:
Genesis Hackathon – Roaming:
- First Place: Cellusys
- Second Place: Console Connect
- Third Place: BICS
Genesis Hackathon – Messaging:
- First Place: Monty Mobile

The winners of the Genesis Hackathon have earned recognition and prestigious awards. Their accomplishments demonstrate their ability to think outside the box, collaborate effectively, and develop solutions that can positively transform our industry.
